Azyr All Night Long: Teletech x Neuron at Bowlers Exhibition Centre
Setting the Stage for a Northern Techno Phenomenon
Few names in UK techno are rising faster than Azyr. Known for his high-octane Boiler Room set and sold-out all-night shows across Europe, the 23-year-old DJ and producer has carved out a sound that’s fast, fierce, and unapologetically heavy. When Teletech announced his five-hour headline show in the main room of Bowlers Exhibition Centre, the anticipation was off the charts.
Having worked alongside Teletech founders Tom and Anton for years, stretching back to our collaboration with Manchester’s Hidden Club, we knew exactly what kind of intensity this night demanded. For Azyr’s relentless sound to land with full force, we built a production that could match it punch for punch: audio, lighting, video, and staging, all finely tuned to deliver a full-throttle experience.
Immersive Audio with Danley Sound Labs
A Heavyweight Danley Rig
At the heart of the show was our large-format Danley Sound Labs Jericho system, chosen for its clarity, power and effortless headroom. The front of house featured Danley J3-94 Jericho Horns, flown to deliver arena-level sound with precision. These were supported by J7-95 delay hangs, ensuring that every corner of Bowlers’ vast main room was covered evenly.
Low-end pressure came from a wall of 24 Danley TH118XL subwoofers, delivering that unmistakable Teletech punch: deep, physical bass you could feel through the floor. The system was driven by Powersoft X-Series amplifiers, controlled via Allen & Heath dLive C3500 and SQ7 consoles. Together, this setup created a sonic landscape that kept the energy surging hour after hour, exactly what Azyr’s style demands.
Even behind the decks, the experience was equally refined. Danley SH50s and THmini15s gave Azyr tight, responsive monitoring, ensuring that every transition and drop hit perfectly in sync with the crowd’s energy.

Lighting That Moved With the Music
Lighting in Sync with the Beat
If the sound was the heartbeat of the night, the lighting was its pulse, flashing, sweeping and surging in perfect rhythm with Azyr’s relentless set. We flew multiple trusses loaded with Robe MegaPointes, Robe Pointes, Chauvet Color Strike M, and Martin MAC Vipers to create layers of light that filled the space, a total of 93 fixtures.
A bold floor lighting package featuring Martin VDO Sceptron 10s and Look Solutions hazers amplified the intensity from below, while an Avolites Arena console gave our lighting operator precise control to match every build and breakdown in real time. The result was a dynamic, high-impact visual that evolved throughout the night, from razor-sharp beams slicing through smoke to full-arena strobes that flooded the crowd in light.

Visuals on a Grand Scale
A 17-Metre Stage Canvas
Above and behind Azyr, a massive 17m wide Chauvet Professional REM 3IP LED screen transformed the main stage into a living canvas. The custom video content pulsed and shifted in perfect sync with the music, giving the crowd a hypnotic backdrop that evolved with every track.
Delivered through a dual-redundant fibre system, the screen was designed to withstand the demands of a high-energy show, bright enough to cut through the haze, but smooth and seamless enough to keep focus where it belonged: on the performance.

Surrounding the Sound: Custom Staging and Audience Experience
A Stage That Surrounds the Crowd
One of Teletech’s trademarks at Bowlers is the wrap-around stage design, allowing the audience to encircle the performer without breaking the flow. We recreated and refined that setup for this show, employing Steeldeck’s custom tiered staging system to bring the crowd closer than ever while keeping Azyr’s workspace protected and comfortable.
This stage design blurred the line between artist and audience, fans could see the sweat, the focus, and the drive up close, while Azyr fed off the crowd’s energy from every direction. It’s a hallmark of Teletech’s approach, and one we’re proud to help bring to life show after show.

Trusted Collaboration, Relentless Execution
Built on Years of Collaboration
With the long partnership between Neuron and Teletech, this project was another reminder of what can be achieved when creative trust and technical precision come together. Our team handled rigging, power, and on-site crew coordination, ensuring every element ran seamlessly from doors open to final track.
Over two days, our engineers, riggers and operators built, tested and refined the system to perfection, proving once again that behind every mind-blowing moment on stage, there’s a team working tirelessly to make it effortless.
Where Passion Meets Precision
A Defining Moment for Teletech
For Azyr, this was more than another show, it was a statement. For Teletech, it was another milestone in their journey as one of the UK’s most influential promoters. And for us at Neuron, it was the chance to do what we do best: take a vision and make it legendary.
From sound that shook the walls to visuals that lit up the night, this was event production at its purest, loud, raw, and unforgettable.
