Manchester Festival Production at Parklife Festival
Manchester Festival Production at Its Best
Each summer, Heaton Park becomes the heart of Manchester’s festival season, and Neuron is proud to play a key role in making it sound legendary. We’ve supplied audio systems and DJ backline for two standout spaces at Parklife Festival: the G Stage and the VIP Stage.
Our focus is always the same: delivering the clarity, impact and reliability that define great Manchester Festival Production.
The G Stage: Power, Precision and Energy
Power for the G Stage
The G Stage is where some of the festival’s most high-energy performances take place. Artists such as Mike Skinner, Girls Don’t Sync, Sammy Virji, Interplanetary Criminal, 4am Kru, Rossi. and Prunk brought serious energy, and our systems made sure every beat hit hard.
Neuron supplied the full DJ backline and on-stage monitoring, powered by a Danley Sound Labs system built for power and accuracy. Four stacks of Danley SH96HO were paired with TH118XL subwoofers in a cardioid configuration, focusing the bass on the crowd and reducing spill to neighbouring stages. A Danley SH95 centre fill with additional TH118XLs ensured full, even coverage throughout the arena.
At the heart of the main system sat Powersoft X8 amplifiers, driving clean, controlled power. While SH50s, TH118XLs, and Martin Audio LE200 wedges provided precise monitoring for both DJs and live acts, driven by Powersoft T604s. Audio control came via an Allen & Heath dLive C3500 and DM64, ensuring total flexibility at front of house.

Professional DJ Backline for World-Class Performances
DJ Backline Built for the Pace
To support the festival’s stacked artist lineup, Neuron supplied a comprehensive DJ backline package built to withstand the pace of back-to-back sets. Each station featured industry-standard Pioneer DJ equipment, including CDJ-3000s and DJM mixers, alongside Technics 1210 turntables for vinyl performances.
Every setup was meticulously prepared and tested by Neuron’s engineers, ensuring seamless transitions between artists and faultless performance delivery, a hallmark of reliable Manchester Festival Production.

The VIP Stage: Clarity and Comfort
A Refined Sound for VIP
The VIP Stage offered a completely different experience, featuring a refined sound for a more intimate audience. We designed a compact but powerful setup featuring Danley SM80 loudspeakers and TH118XL subwoofers, powered by Powersoft X4 amplification to deliver warmth and precision in equal measure.
Yamaha DSR112 monitors kept performers perfectly in sync, while an Allen & Heath SQ6 console with DX168 stage box provided intuitive control. Supporting components, including microphones, power distribution, and clean cable management, ensured seamless performance across the weekend.
