A dimly lit conference room is adorned with blue and purple lights. Rows of empty chairs face a large stage with a screen displaying abstract patterns and an intricate audio installation. A few people can be seen seated near the middle, hinting at the anticipation of an upcoming event in Manchester.

 

Jason Stark, Operations Manager at Schroders, took an interest in Neuron’s experience of using Danley Sound Labs in a wide range of audio applications. Specifically, he required a solution that not only provided excellent speech intelligibility for conference use but also had some lower-end punch when used for background music at events.

Working with Diversified, the lead AV integrator, Neuron designed an audio system, modelling it in Danley Direct software to ensure even coverage of the conference venue space. Our team chose products from Danley’s Synergy Horn series, which are phase-accurate and consistent in response over the entire coverage angle. Due to the ceiling height available, these speakers ensured excellent stage sightlines.

The entire audio system is powered off the 8-channel Danley DNA-20K8C amplifier with Dante capability, ensuring it can be integrated into the rest of the AV solution.
