In early August, Neuron delivered complete technical production for the second edition of the Teletech Festival, returning to Manchester’s BEC Arena.

8,000 lovers of their particular brand of hard and fast techno were served by 5 stages of sound, light and video with Neuron also looking after all site power, custom structures and rigging.

Our event production team deployed PA systems from manufacturers such as Danley Sound Labs, Void Acoustics and Funktion One across the larger capacity stages, each being specified as the right tool for the job in their given areas with excellent feedback from clients and guests.

A lively outdoor music event at night with a crowd enjoying the performance under a canopy, amid ambient stage smoke and colorful lighting, all part of the Teletech Festival Production.

One of the most popular attractions was the 2,000-capacity Boiler Room stage; we worked closely with their event team to meet their needs for a safe staging solution that could allow the free flow of people around the performers and some on the DJ riser dancing, all the while keeping a safe working environment for the technical staff managing the production and recording. This room featured a four-point Danely SH96HO system, adding to the immersive experience. Lighting featured fixtures such as Robe LEDBeam 150, Showtec Sunstrip and Chauvet Color Strike M to provide a stripped-back industrial visual.

The main arena sound system was served by a pair of Danley J3-94 and SH96HO downfills, complemented by TH118XL subwoofers. To improve audio coverage at the back of the vast room, Danley J7-95 were flown to cover the crowd. The lighting system comprised a floor package of Chroma-Q Color Force 72 and Robe Pointe fixtures. Flown overhead were a mixture of Robe MegaPointe and Pointe, Chauvet Color Strike M and Rogue R2 Wash, with the whole system controlled by an Avolites Arena. The 40m2 LED screen was flown behind the artists, and at 4,000 nits of brightness, it provided a striking stage backdrop.
