The Tech Capital Awards & IFF26, London
Two flagship Tech Capital events across two consecutive days at One Great George Street, Westminster.
Two Tech Capital flagships, back to back at One Great George Street
Over two consecutive days in May 2026, The Tech Capital brought its two biggest annual events to One Great George Street in Westminster, the fifth annual Global Awards on the first evening, followed the next day by IFF26, the International Finance Forum.
Neuron delivered the full technical production package across both events: a 12m × 3.6m main stage, a 56m² Absen LED canvas with totem-and-truss vertical accents, a d&b audiotechnik PA system tuned for speech and live music, and a full crewed lighting and video wall that transitioned overnight between two very different room formats.
A tight build in the heart of Westminster
Two Events, Back to Back
A Stone’s Throw From the Palace of Westminster
One Great George Street sits just metres from the Palace of Westminster, with an active building site immediately next to the loading bay. Combined with a tight build schedule and the need to transition the room overnight between two distinct event formats, the logistics had to be planned to the minute.
Neuron was brought in to deliver a complete production package across both nights: a flagship awards show on the first evening, followed the next day by the International Finance Forum. The brief was a single technical setup that could deliver the spectacle of an awards ceremony and the credibility of a senior-leadership conference without compromising either.

44m² of stage, 56m² of LED, one room
A Statement Stage in a Listed Building
Stage and LED Built to Anchor the Room
The 12m × 3.6m main stage was constructed first from Prolyte Litedeck modular staging, finished with carpet and black casement and dressed with a perspex lectern and bespoke Foamex branding. With the stage in, the team turned to the centrepiece: a 56m² Absen Polaris PL2.5 LED canvas – a 10m × 3.5m central screen flanked by six 1m × 3.5m vertical totems, driven by Novastar MCTRL 4K processors with content delivered through Resolume.
Between each LED totem, we rigged truss columns loaded with Showtec Sunstrip LED battens and twelve Robe LEDBeam 150s, giving the stage architecture a vertical rhythm and adding depth behind every speaker and performer who took to it. Front-of-house lighting ran on a Chamsys MagicQ MQ70 console driving a rig of Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 LED Spots and Washes, COLORado Solo 1 wash fixtures and ETC Source Four LEDs for cue-able presenter key light.

Audio Engineered for Speech and Music
With a concert pianist on the awards bill and a full conference programme the next day, the PA needed to handle both ends of the dynamic range cleanly. We deployed a d&b audiotechnik system built around d&b Y10P point-source mains supported by B6 subs and E5 fills, with M6 stage wedges for the performers, all powered by d&b D40 amplifiers.
Mixing was handled on an Allen & Heath dLive C3500 with a DM64 Dante-enabled mix rack. Microphone choice ran the full spread with Sennheiser G4 wireless handhelds, DPA 2028 vocal mics and a Schertler Dyn P48 instrument mic on the piano.

Two nights, two audiences
From Black-Tie Awards to Boardroom Forum
Day One - The 5th Global Awards
The first night was the fifth annual Tech Capital Global Awards 2026. A concert pianist on a Bechstein grand opened the room, the galaxy graphic running across the full LED canvas behind. Lord John Bird, co-founder of The Big Issue, delivered the keynote.
The room itself, the historic Great Hall, was set banquet-style for 200 delegates with table-dressing tying back to the Tech Capital brand colours running across the stage.

Day Two - International Finance Forum
The next day, the same room was reconfigured into a forward-facing conference layout for IFF26, The Tech Capital’s fifth International Finance Forum. The forum convenes investors, operators and policymakers from over 40 countries, representing more than US$1.6 trillion in combined market capitalisation, to examine how risk is being repriced across digital infrastructure markets.
The LED canvas shifted from an awards spectacle to a clean conference IMAG, with the d&b PA system delivering whole-room speech reinforcement.Read more about IFF26 on the Tech Capital site.

Two Days, One Production Team
The single biggest test of the project was the overnight transition between the two events: same stage, same LED, but a completely different mood and audience. Two sound engineers, a lighting operator and a video technician held the line across both days, with rigging and crew schedules tightened around the venue’s historic floors and the building site at the back door.
Both events ran on time, on cue, with the same room delivering the spectacle of an awards ceremony and the credibility of a senior-leadership finance forum.
