YES Manchester

FOUR FLOORS OF MUSIC, DRINKS AND DANCING

Unique, intimate and exceptional. A music experience you don’t soon forget.

Home to the world’s only pink, iconic venue & sound system, YES converts a derelict auctioneer’s house into one of the finest destinations for live music and DJs in the UK. With distinctive live rooms and bars, ideally placed between the infamous Oxford Road strip and Gay Village, combined with reasonably priced drinks and great food, the venue backs up it’s forward-thinking and varied programming by nailing the essentials. Neuron designed and installed a full venue audio system.

Neuron were assigned with fitting the audio throughout YES in Manchester. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the equipment they recommended, the service, and the attention to detail that this company provided. Highly recommended. JONATHAN WICKSTEAD DIRECTOR, YES MANCHESTER / PROMOTER, NOW WAVE

Working with our long-standing friends at Now Wave, alongside Rose Pubs, our focus was on astounding sound quality and ease-of-use, without leakage issues for this noise-sensitive location. Our proven design has played host to such greats as Martha Reeves, A Certain Ratio, Matthew Halsall, Sampa the Great, Tirzah, BC Camplight, & many more. Through accurate prediction, simulation and testing of our Danley Sound Labs design, our dedicated commissioning team achieved zero noise complaints from local tenants – despite new adjacent city-centre residential developments. Staff and attendees alike enjoy our results week in, week out – whether bar-based weekday DJ sessions, daytime yoga, cosy cocktails on the gorgeous terrace, or late-night, cutting-edge music in the intimate live rooms.

Neuron provided complete multi-floor audio systems and a front-end production package to suit a wide range of touring acts and DJs. Both live rooms feature custom colour speakers from Danley Sound Labs running on Linea Research amplifiers with Allen & Heath desk platforms, Martin Audio monitors on Powersoft amplification, and stage production from Sennheise, Shure, BSS and Beyer Dynamic

The busy ground floor bar is covered by a hybrid system of Danley and Yamaha speakers with the roof terrace and private top floor green room running on an Audac platform.
