As well as full production live streaming from the Neuron Studio our in-house developers designed a new website for the service, equipped with PRS Licensing, allowing shows to continue within the parameters of increasing rules around streaming of copyrighted music, which has limited such content on social media. This system ensured that artists are paid fairly for their craft.
We helped design the monthly subscription model, allowing users to access archived footage as well as special subscriber only live shows. A donation button in exchange for shout-outs proved very popular, providing the audience with much-welcomed interaction with the artists and plenty of comic relief. All donations are paid directly to the artists performing on the night. A live chat box was attached to the video content to extend the interaction, bringing some much-needed community spirit back to live music whilst people can’t be together.
